"Zion is a Hebrew word meaning 'place of peace and sanctuary', which is strange since the word is now assocated with terrorists."--Zion Ntnl Park Bus Driver Jim

Zion
Zion was rugged, beautiful, and downright impressive (until we made it to Bryce and the Grand Canyon).  It is the best run national park I have ever been to, anywhere in the world.  Most of the park no longer has car access.  There are shuttle buses that run every 6 minutes from one stop to the next.  There are trails at every stop, and usually nice vistas.  There were lots of German tourists as well.  I think I have seen more Germans on this trip than in my numerous trips to Germany.

Bryce

Bryce was visually the most stunning place on our trip.  The geometry is engrossing.  Pictures will speak stronger than words.
