European Vacation--Fifth Country
Clark:  Hey, hey, easy kids. Everybody in the car. Boat leaves in two minutes... or perhaps you don't want to see the second largest ball of twine on the face of the earth, which is only four short hours away?

What a wonderful country!  The natural beauty, the perfect weather, the incredible history...Turkey will require more than one web page.  Make sure to watch for Istanbul and other subpages, coming soon!

Arrival (Day 1 - 3)

I already wrote "a day in the life".  It summarized a day spent in Turkey, from Turkish tea and breakfast to swimming in the Aegean see, at a pristine beach with no one else around.  The next day was a little more boring as we accomplished very little--we crossed into Asia, and saw the ruins of Troy before busing most of the way to Istanbul.  Our bus stopped at a gas station/Mosque for prayer and break-fast, as Ramadan started the day before.
See the slide shows below for our impressions of our first days in Turkey.

Istanbul

There is not enough space on this page for Istanbul.  Please see the Istanbul page, coming soon.
