The Sureal Normal Life
After over 2 years of travel and nomadism, we have an apartment to call our own!  We are settling into our jobs and a "normal" life.  Susie is working from home writing science labs for K-5th graders.  I am working at Intel as a content writer for their training team.  We have an extra room, so if anyone wants to visit, come on by!

Josh's 31st Birthday

 

Josh invited lots of friends over, and went crazy with the food.  His pride and joy is the new Grill (capitalized).  He cooked up his house teriyaki chicken, artisan Russian sausage (imported from SE Portland), and made his own birthday cake...it was just what he wanted!  Layers of chocolate cake with layers of dark chocolate ganache and marzipan.  Caramelized almonds graced the top.  Generous pieces were cut, in a most unBerglike fashion.
