Adam and _______'s Trip to Joshua Tree

When we arrived, it was a little cooler than the weather prediction stated, but the mix of heavy clouds and blue sky made for some beautifully dramatic views.  This late in the year, there were not many people.  We drove around to numerous places, and did a few walks, including one serious hike.  As darkness settled at 4:30, we walked away from the car into the desert.  With a bottle of wine and great food, we enjoyed the sunset.  When the rain set in, we grabbed our stuff which thankfully was not yet unpacked, and hiked back to the car and drove home.   Upon our return to her apartment, _______ recommended that we set up camp in her apartment, which we did, roasting marshmallows over a candle for s’mores, and finishing off a bottle of wine.

Home for Thanksgiving

I took ______ to Santa Rosa to meet the folks.  I remember my Dad saying "_____ is every bit as beautiful as her name."  My mother whose middle name is "Lee", was thrilled to meet a woman whose name included not one letter in common, but has the name number of vowels.  Dan Brewer's parents where likewise amazed that my girlfriend had a name with none of the letters in their surname. 

We visited San Francisco with my mother, and her boyfriend Bob.  He delighted in the company of a young woman who not only had no letters in common, but also a different number of syllables, and whose name did not form a palindrome.
