December 20th, 2008 at our alma mater,
Lewis & Clark College’s Smith Hall The Phoenix Inn of Beaverton. This small room, tucked away in the Albany building just off of the scenic Sunset Highway in Beaverton used to be the servants’ quarters, which is totally unrelated, and in no way metaphorical to, our wedding.
Since it is the shortest day of the year, the ceremony will be early, at 12 noon. Lunch (and dessert, knowing the Bergs) will follow. Wine (and lots of it, knowing the Rakowskis) will be flowing freely. Well, not freely so much as cheaply (knowing both Adam and Susie). These will be the finest $4 bottles of wine ever sold by Trader Joe’s (knowing the Bergs and the Rakowskis).
